Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

After deciding against getting this palette one too many times, I decided to bite the bullet and buy it during the VIB sale (which is still going on now, coupon code is in my previous post). As soon as I opened the palette I was pleasantly greeted with the orgasmic aroma of chocolate, I almost fell off my chair it smelt so good--I'm pretty sure that you could make a cup of hot chocolate with the shadows. Of course, being the makeup lover I am, I immediately washed my face and began applying the shadows to my eyes. They are so buttery and soft with limited fallout. They have a similar consistency to that of the Urban Decay eyeshadows. They are incredibly pigmented and apply nicely on the lid. They blend beautifully and the colours that are included in the palette match very nicely together. I thought that the pink and the purple shade that were included in the palette would be disjointed from the rest of the palette, but the pink is subtle and the purple has a plum undertone which match beautifully with the colour scheme of the palette.

For $60.00 you get 14 eyeshadows, which is about the same price for product comparison as we see in the Urban Decay Naked palettes. They made two of the shadows larger, the matte cream and the champagne, which would be used as your brow highlight--a smart decision since these are shades that will be used everyday to complete each look. The case is magnetic, which eliminates the likelihood of your shadows getting all over the place when you're travelling. The case is also metal, making it more durable than the cardboard case of the Urban Decay Naked palettes.
