Smashbox: Full Exposure palette

I recently picked up this beaut' from the Sephora VIB sale after lusting over it for a while. You know my love for neutral palettes, so eventually this had to be added to my collection. The palette contains 14 shadows, half of which are matte and half of which are shimmer. Each matte and shimmer shade that are paired together are corresponding colours, which ensure that both of the colours will pair nicely together on the eye. The shadows on my initial swatch were soft and pigmented--I have to disagree with the other reviews out there that the palette is lack-luster in the pigmentation department. Though, the shimmer shades, definitely, need more build-up than the matte shades. The shimmer shades have more of a sheen than glitter, which makes for a better appearance on the eye. The palette itself also comes with a dual ended brush and a sample of Full Exposure mascara. The palette, in terms of packaging, is not convenient. It is way thicker than it needs to be, that's for sure. However, the versatility and wearability of the shadows make up for that fault.
